1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and The operator of terror.wtf governing your access to and use of the terror.wtf website, biolink profiles, uploads, store, dashboard, and all related features (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory EU/EEA or Member State law.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

  • Operator / provider: The operator of terror.wtf, established in the European Economic Area
  • General contact: support@terror.wtf

Support and notices are provided by email to support@terror.wtf. For a registered postal address or further company details, contact us at the same email and we will provide them where required by law.

3. Eligibility and age requirements

To use the Service you must:

  • be at least 16 years old if you reside in the EU/EEA (or the lower age of digital consent set by your Member State under GDPR Article 8, which cannot be below 13); elsewhere, be at least 13, or older if required by local law; and
  • have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
  • not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law or under a prior suspension or ban by us.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with a parent or guardian’s permission where that is required. We do not knowingly create accounts for children below the applicable age threshold.

4. Accounts and registration

4.1 Registration

To create an account you must choose a unique username and a password. We may change, limit, pause, or close registration at any time.

4.2 Account credentials and security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@terror.wtf if you suspect unauthorised access. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.

4.3 Linked Discord

You may optionally connect a Discord account for presence and related profile features. Connecting Discord authorises us to receive the identifiers needed to display that presence, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect Discord from your dashboard at any time.

5. The Service: what terror.wtf provides

terror.wtf lets you:

  • create and customise a public biolink profile reachable at a personal handle (for example, terror.wtf/yourname);
  • add links, icons, badges, bio text, colours, effects, and other profile customisation;
  • upload and host media used on your profile (such as avatars, backgrounds, audio, and link icons), subject to size and type limits;
  • optionally display Discord presence and other integrations you enable; and
  • purchase optional premium access through our store / Discord process (see Section 9).

Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

6. Your content and licence to us

6.1 Ownership

“User Content” means anything you create, upload, host, publish, or display through the Service, including your profile pages, text, links, images, audio, icons, and configuration. You retain all ownership rights you already hold in your User Content.

6.2 Licence you grant

To operate the Service you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, cache, adapt for technical display, publicly perform and display, and distribute your User Content, solely for the purposes of operating, providing, securing, and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you delete the relevant User Content or your account, except for residual backup copies retained for a limited period and content we must retain to comply with law.

6.3 Public nature of pages

Your biolink page, public handle, view counts, and any content you place on them are, by design, publicly accessible — including via search engines and direct links. Do not place private or sensitive information on public pages.

6.4 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to provide it and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights or violate any law or these Terms.

7. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • upload, host, link to, or display content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • upload malware, or use uploads to distribute malicious, deceptive, or illegal files;
  • impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • post sexual content involving minors or target minors;
  • spam, phish, run scams, or distribute unsolicited advertising;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; probe, scan, or test vulnerability without authorisation; or circumvent bans, rate limits, or security measures;
  • scrape or harvest data in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, or interfere with other users’ use of the Service;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted; or
  • assist or permit anyone else to do any of the above.

We may set and enforce additional community rules for the Service.

8. Moderation, suspension, and bans

We may review, moderate, refuse, remove, or restrict access to any User Content or account, and may suspend or permanently ban accounts, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated, to protect users or the Service, or to comply with a legal request. Where appropriate we will give you a chance to appeal via support@terror.wtf.

9. Premium, store, and refunds

9.1 What is sold

The Service may offer optional premium upgrades and related items through our store page and Discord purchase process. Premium is typically sold as a limited-stock, one-time / lifetime unlock unless we state otherwise at the point of purchase. Prices, stock, and available features may change.

9.2 Payment processing

Purchases are arranged through the process we publish (currently via Discord). Payment details may be handled by third-party payment providers; we do not need full card details to grant premium once payment is confirmed by us.

9.3 Digital content and right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

Premium and similar unlocks are digital content / digital services supplied without a tangible medium. Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by purchasing and requesting immediate access, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery or activation begins (and, for digital content, once it has been delivered), to the extent permitted by law. Where an item has not yet been delivered or activated, the right of withdrawal continues to apply.

9.4 Refunds

Except where required by mandatory consumer law or where we choose to grant one, purchases are non-refundable once delivered or activated. To request a refund, contact support@terror.wtf. Premium features and stock may change after purchase; that alone does not entitle you to a refund.

10. Third-party integrations

Widgets and integrations (for example Discord presence) display data fetched from third-party services based on identifiers you provide. Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

11. Intellectual property in the Service

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, “terror.wtf” name and related intellectual property — belongs to the operator of terror.wtf or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as intended. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently, at any time. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation, except as required by mandatory law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@terror.wtf. We may suspend or terminate your access as described in Section 8, or if you stop using the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account and User Content, subject to the retention rules in the Privacy Policy and Section 6.2. Sections that by their nature should survive (including licences needed for residual backups, IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be available without interruption, or be free of errors or harmful components, nor do we warrant any third-party content or integration. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory EU/EEA law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or User Content.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) EUR 100.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, and they do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU/EEA.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date). Changes take effect on the stated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Service are governed by applicable law of the European Economic Area, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply a different law, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence within the EU/EEA.

  • EU/EEA consumers: You may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, or in the courts of our place of establishment. Mandatory consumer-protection law of your Member State continues to apply.
  • Online dispute resolution: The European Commission’s ODR platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ (subject to its current availability). We are not obliged to use a specific ADR entity unless required by law.

18. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the documents they reference are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law.
  • Language: These Terms are provided in English. If translated, the English version prevails except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

19. Contact
